Tossing garbage from balconies and windows is the height of uncivilised behaviour

Gulf News reader Mohammad Zeeshan took this photo while in the Al Majaz area of Sharjah to call attention to the uncivilised behaviour residents sometimes display. He said: “I was just standing in a car park when someone threw a child’s used diaper from a building window. It fell onto a car below, dirtying the windshield. I was shocked by this ridiculous and disgusting behaviour. Are we living in a civilised society? The municipality should take strict action against irresponsible people who throw their garbage from their balconies or windows.”
