Tips on how to plan your drive

Easy ways to avoid road rage during Ramadan

Last updated:

o Leave thirty minutes earlier if you are driving around iftar time.

o Keep a few dates and a bottle of water in your bag in case it is iftar time and you have not yet reached your destination.

o Use public transport to avoid reckless driving on the road.

o If you are on the Dubai Metro and it is iftar time, you can step out onto a station, break your fast, then resume your journey. Do not eat or drink on the Metro as there is a Dh100 fine for that.

o Drive in the right lanes and avoid the left lane.
