Stuck during prayer time

During Friday prayers in Abu Dhabi, Gulf News reader P. C. Omar came across a unique reason for traffic congestion.

He said: “The entire road in the old Tourist Club Area was blocked during prayer. Vehicles were [stuck] in a long queue and motorists had to wait till the prayers were completed. There was only one small mosque in the area and people had no other alternative but to pray on the road. But let us not block the way!”
 
He urged the authorities to look into the matter at the earliest.
