Provide cycle stands for parking

Abu Dhabi has taken many initiatives to encourage residents to use public transport to cut down on carbon footprint. Many people, especially those with very low income, use bicycles for commuting. Now, the problem is that there are no cycle stands for people to safely park their bicycles. They just lock up their bicycles against a lamp post, which is not only an eyesore but also invite thieves to steal them. Convenient and secure bicycle parking will encourage more people to commute on two wheels. Through this community report, I urge the authorities to set up bicycle stands in Abu Dhabi so that more people will be encouraged to use this mode of transport.
