Potholes along uneven roads make motorists wary
I am a resident of Hessa Tower, Al Nahda 1, Dubai, just adjacent to the exit 69. There is a long row of residential buildings along the road. All of them are high-rise towers, with each accommodating at least 150 to 200 flats.
The road leading to the entrances of these buildings is strewn with pebbles, is highly uneven, rough and contains potholes. This causes great difficulty to people walking in the area and can be damaging to the tyres of cars.
Motorists driving on this path face a tricky situation because the entire bumpy road is not well-maintained - it does not even have any street lights.
Once the sun sets, the whole area, which now houses so many families, looks deserted and dark. This can lead to accidents, thanks to reckless and careless drivers.
I request the newspaper, which is doing a commendable job, to highlight the matter and urge the authorities to find a solution to this everyday problem that we residents are facing.
