I wish to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities the hardships faced by some residents of the Mankhool area in Dubai. A few days ago, a car was parked near my building and it was blocking the entrance to the residence parking zone (as seen in photograph). The residents had to use a single gate for entry and exit, which was unsafe.
The watchman tried to find out whether the car belonged to a guest of one of the residents of the building, who had parked the car in the wrong place. After an hour, he called the authorities to seek their assistance. He secured the mobile number of the car owner and called the number repeatedly, but there was no response.
At around 9pm, the car was driven away and none of the residents or watchman could see the driver. This isn’t the first time such a thing has happened. So, what I want to highlight is the irresponsible and carefree attitude of motorists. I request the driver of this vehicle and other residents to drive and park in a responsible manner. Do not waiver from your civic sense.
