Parents must take responsibility

I took this photograph on a Friday evening close to Dubai Creek Park. Despite repeated reminders and people pleading to parents to take care of their children, it is shocking to see such a sight, especially when the car is moving.

I feel pity for such children. What kind of parents do they have? Forget the seat belt, the child is leaning out of the window? Is your child's life not important to you? I think there is nothing the authorities can do, because the child belongs to the parent. The authorities can warn parents, impose fines or punish them in some manner, but this is not the end to tragedies. A person becoming a parent must have a sense of responsibility.
