Open manhole causes trouble

I live in the Al Hamriya Area in Bur Dubai. This is entirely a residential area.

Adjacent to my building, there is a manhole on the pavement that has been left open for a few days now. Residents of the area sometimes cover it with cardboard as a temporary solution.

The pavement is used by residents, including children. Several school buses arrive on this road to pick and drop off students. Any of them could have an accident due to this open manhole.

I request the concerned authorities to address this issue and get a permanent cover for the manhole.
