Littering is rampant on Jebel Hafeet as visitors are irresponsible

Recently, I visited Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain. During holidays or weekends, people flock to the area as the view from the mountaintop is breathtaking.
Unfortunately, those who litter have not spared this beautiful tourist spot. It is heartbreaking to see the amount of trash scattered around such a lovely place. But what surprises me most is the fact that people threw garbage across the fences or barricades, making it a real challenge for municipal workers to clean the area.
Sorry state of affairs
It is dangerous to try and clear waste lying outside the fences, at the edge of the mountain. The pictures I have taken at the peak speak for themselves. It depicts the sorry state of affairs, thanks to people's irresponsible behaviour and lack of civic sense. For our convenience and pleasure, Nature is taken for granted.
One can find almost everything thrown across the fence, from wrappers to beverage cans, in addition to spilt tea and leftover food items.
I urge people who visit the area to kindly preserve its beauty. Dispose of litter in a proper manner in garbage bins provided at the site, rather than destroying this venue. The authorities concerned should penalise people who indulge in such actions.
Furthermore, during public holidays, when a surge of visitors is expected, the authorities could increase the number of municipal workers at the site. They can then monitor the activities of tourists, and also install more garbage bins across the location.
