On a visit to Al Khan beach in Sharjah, the sight of jellyfish concerned Gulf News reader Pooja Mohan.
She said: “This is a public beach where many people like to swim. Some of these jellyfish may be harmless but [there are others] that can sting us and it can be painful. Health is wealth. I hope the [authorities] take special notice of this problem.”
She urged residents to be careful and stay away from them to be on the safe side.
