Motorists park illegally near the Al Fahidi Souq in Bur Dubai.

Dubai
I would like to highlight an issue that we face on a daily basis. I see many people parking their vehicles in spots designated only for loading or unloading next to the newly built Al Fahidi Souq in Bur Dubai.
I live nearby and while I walk by the souq, in the mornings and evenings, towards the Al Fahidi Metro Station, I see a lot of motorists parking illegally in the passage between the souq and the building adjacent to it (as seen in photograph).
Every day, during peak office hours, there is congestion in this side lane as motorists try to park or move their vehicles out of the place. It is clearly not an authorised parking space and since it is not a wide passageway, it gets difficult for the pedestrians to walk through because of the parked vehicles.
Additionally, there are cars parked on both sides of the souq’s premises where there are clear signboards that state it is a ‘no parking’ zone and there are yellow stripes painted on the floor.
I want to bring this issue to the attention of the concerned authorities and want to request them to take immediate action and punish the violators.
