It is time to stand up for the innocent women and children around the world.

Despite the bitter truth that human trafficking has been occurring in almost all areas and regions of the globe for several centuries, the heinous crime has witnessed a frightful growth during the past few decades in USA, Latin America, Central and South Asia and the Far East. The crime of illegitimate and unsanctioned mobility of humans through their kidnapping, with the purpose of selling them for obtaining financial profit, has startled the entire world.
The individuals involved in human smuggling have a specific aim of exploiting them physically. These criminals shift innocent children and women to remote areas, where they are kept and are abused. In addition, these helpless individuals are also forced into beggary and other criminal activities, with many of them compelled to do various immoral and indecent acts that are explicitly against society and humanity at large.
The smuggled children and women are transported around the world through the use of fake names and visas. Despite the fact that various countries around the world are determined to destroy the network of traffickers through laws and the formation of anti-trafficking bodies, the use of technology is helping smugglers trap and abduct innocent people on a daily basis. They successfully subject them to various kinds of atrocities to keep them silent. It is time that the heinous crime of human trafficking is brought to its ultimate end.
A noticeable obstacle in the way of curbing human trafficking includes the lack of reporting of the incidences of human smuggling. Since Western societies have turned out to be torchbearers for the protection of human rights, no one is allowed to interfere in the affairs of others. As a result, if a person, including an adolescent, goes missing, no one is permitted to lodge a complaint against the mysterious disappearance of the missing person for 24 hours. This law exists in most European and American countries. Consequently, the smugglers could easily shift the abducted person to another location, while the family and friends of the victim try to cope with their grief and pain.
It is about time that the international community stands up and raises its voice against such a dreadful and condemnable crime against the entire humanity. By standing up for such a crime, the future of innocent children and women could be saved from the nefarious hands of human traffickers!
