Out of order

Gulf News reader M. M. Ebrahim urged the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to install more Nol card ticket machines in the busier areas of Dubai. He said: "In the Deira — Naif Park bus stop, there is only one ticket recharge machine. But one isn't enough! There is always a long queue in front of the machine, especially on weekends. [It is tough] in the scorching heat. I request the RTA to install at least one more machine in this area." Ironically, other areas such as World Trade Centre have Nol card machines that have been out of order "for a long time", according to the community reporter. He urged the RTA to take notice and rectify the problem for the convenience of commuters.
