I would like to share information about the unhealthy practices of some residents in Sharjah, especially those who visit the beaches in the city.

I took this photograph of the Sharjah-Ajman corniche last week. During the weekends, many people like to spend their evenings on the beach with their friends or relatives. They also like to have dinner or barbecue, which is actually not allowed on the beach. So, often, after the weekend, the situation of the beach is truly horrible.

Being a responsible resident is important while staying in a country like the UAE, where the authorities are carrying out several initiatives to keep the country clean. I urge my fellow residents to consider the UAE as their own home and live in an eco-friendly manner.
