I have lived in International City for the past two years, and I would like to highlight the miserable situation in the area. While the idea to develop this city was superb, unfortunately, after construction, building authorities have just ignored the whole place.
We have one dormant construction site just behind our building. In fact we can see it from our balcony. In the same site, there is a big and deep depression, which has eventually become a pond and a home for mosquitoes and flies.
This is a residential area and the best part is that all of the buildings around the site are almost occupied. We feel that because of this type of unhygienic pond and clogged water, our society may face many problems like malaria and other diseases.
