Abu Dhabi corniche barrier in need of repair

The Corniche area in Abu Dhabi is visited by a regular crowd of people on weekdays and weekends. The safety railings there have loose wire ropes with ends that are broken and damaged. Young children and toddlers, often unattended by parents, can easily fall into the sea or injure themselves in a serious mishap. This negligence should be brought to light. One only hopes that some remedial measure will follow from the authorities concerned without any further delay.
