Welcome to the Hotel California… after over four decades of rocking out, LA's number-one country rock band, The Eagles, are finally making it to Dubai for their first ever concert in the Middle East.

Fans of the band will be well-versed in their most popular hits, including Hotel California, Take It Easy, Life In The Fast Lane and Desperado (1), but we'll also be treated to hits from across from the band's 40-year history, including songs from their recent album, Long Road Out Of Eden.

Over 25,000 fans are expected to head to The Sevens Stadium to watch the band, aka Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit (2), who are set to play an impressive two-hour set. The doors open at 6pm and the band will be on stage at 9pm.

Cost Dh350 for regular tickets, Dh700 golden circle standing, Dh1,400 for VIP packages.

Footnotes

(1) The band released their first hit, Take It Easy, in 1972, and have since released 29 singles, with their most recent being I Don't Want To Hear Any More in 2009.

(2) In 40 years, they have taken home six Grammys, including Record Of The Year for Hotel California in 1977 and Best Rock Vocal Performance in 1979, and they have topped the US Billboard Chart five times. Rolling Stone magazine ranks their debut album, Eagles, as one of the top 500 of all time, and we agree.
