The Backstreet Boys are back again – and this time, they’ll be bringing founding member Kevin Richardson with them.

Nearly five years since their last show at The Palladium Dubai in December 2009, the Orlando sweethearts who once dominated '90’s music charts, mixtapes and pop compilations will be back in the UAE.

They’re set to perform at the Dubai World Trade Centre on March 28, as posted on the band’s official website, though no official announcement from local promoters has been made. Ticket information has yet to be announced.

“For the first time in nearly 10 years, all 5 boys are back together again,” reads a graphic preceding their touring schedule online.

The text is set overtop a photo of the five members in suits pulling their most dramatic business-only faces. Richardson, known as the oldest member with a signature low register, left the band in 2006 and rejoined them two years ago.

Their current tour is named after their eighth and latest studio album, the record-breaking In a World Like This which debuted at No 5 on Billboard 200 list in 2013. It began its run in May of last year and will go on until April, taking the band all around Europe in 2014. The boys, now men aged 33 to 42, will be supported by English-Canadian girl group All Saints.

After news outlets across the UAE reported that the Backstreet Boys would be returning to the country to perform, however, the band removed their projected Dubai date from an official online tour schedule. A stop in Dusseldorf, Germany is now in the March 28 slot instead. Watch this space for updates.
