Car collection comprising of 100 classic and vintage cars springs up for sale on a Dubai car classified website
A glitzy car collection of exactly 100 classic, vintage, and racing cars has come up for sale on a local car classified website with an asking price of 13.6 million US dollars, or Dh50 million to round it off nicely.
The amazing collection is located in the US state of California, although wheels magazine is informed that the Armenian owner and seller of the collection is looking for a buyer in the UAE.
Our source also tells us that every model is in perfect running condition, but if you’re looking to ‘part-out’ this sale, sadly it’s not going to happen – it’s all or nothing.
And don’t think you’re getting a few dozen Nissan Zs, Land Rovers and old S-Class Mercs. The newest car in the collection is a 1993 Ferrari Testarossa, the Miami Vice kind, but don’t fret because there is a proper 1961 250 Testa Rossa lurking in there too. Real or not, we don’t know, although a Jaguar D-Type might make up for it if the redhead is indeed a replica.
How about a 1964 Ford GT? Or a first generation Corvette? Other notable models in the car collection include a 1963 Aston Martin DB4 Convertible, some Auburns and Cords, Woodys and Desotos, a Muntz Jet, a ’59 Fiat Jolly, a 1911 Ford, 1920 Olds, a ’26 Rickenbacker, ’31 Rolls-Royce, and a pristine ’34 Packard.
Found nothing you like? What about the unloved-at-the-time Chrysler Airflow? There’s pretty much something for everyone in there, especially if you’re a US car fanatic: ’34 Pierce Arrow, Cadillacs, Lincolns, Fords, ‘Vettes, Mercs, a lone Tucker and a Kaiser, DeLorean…
For the discerning European, you can pick from a ’38 Bugatti, ’48 MG, ’51 Delahaye, ’52 Jaguar, a trio of early Sixties Astons, ’63 E-Type, ’65 Citroen, Jaguar XJ13 (surely a replica), ’67 Lamborghini, a pair of Ferrari Daytonas (coupe and spider), Lamborghini Espada, Ferrari BB…
The entire list is too exhausting and hypnotizing at the same time (even if the descriptions are minimal), so have a look below but make sure there’s a handkerchief handy to wipe the drool off your keyboard.
