Palestinian pop star Mohammad Assaf will join Lebanese-Canadian R’n’B singer Massari on stage on October 27, organisers have confirmed. The guest appearance will be part of Halloween-themed music festival Fiesta De Los Muertos at Dubai Autism Rocks Arena.
Assaf, who released his second album Ma Wahashnak in June, told Gulf News tabloid! that he collaborated with Massari on an unreleased song.
“I was almost going to put it on my album — I was going in that duet album direction. It’s a single that I think they’ll release on Massari’s album,” he said.
The song has yet to see the light day, but could be debuted on stage, according to a media representative for Assaf.
Massari is set to take the stage at 6.20pm on Friday. Carly Rae Jepsen, Stormzy and The Gorillaz will also perform.
