IKon’s youngest member Chanwoo has officially opened his own personal YouTube account. He posted his first video last Thursday and has received over 101,000 subscribers. Fans can now get an intimate look at Chanwoo’s life and get access to behind-the-scenes footage with his members too.
Most K-Pop idols including Block B U-Kwon, f(x)’s Amber and Luna, Akdong Musician’s Suhyun, Brown Eyed Girls’ Miryo, DAY6’s Jae and Sandara Park create personalised video content for their own YouTube channels.
Despite posting videos and entertaining his fans, known as iKONICs, he’s currently preparing with the rest of the members for their new mini album New Kids: Continue, which will be released on August 2. They are also scheduled to kick off their first world tour at Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastics Arena on August 18.
