Comedy Central is taking aim at veteran action star Bruce Willis with an upcoming Comedy Central Roast.

“This ain’t the first time I’ll be tied to a chair and held hostage by a group of humourless... for a couple hours,” the wisecracking Willis said in a statement on Tuesday.

The 63-year-old star of the Die Hard franchise — not to mention Armageddon, Pulp Fiction and The Expendables — will be the butt of jokes delivered by his peers and a roast master hosting the annual, no-holds-barred tribute.

“Bruce has survived terrorists, Armageddon, romance and death itself. Yet, nothing has prepared him for this Roast,” Comedy Central President Kent Alterman said in the statement.

Details about the taping, air date, roast master and dais of roasters have not been announced, but the taping is set to take place in Los Angeles. A condensed version of the event will air on the cable network this summer.

In recent years, the network has roasted Rob Lowe, Justin Bieber, James Franco, Charlie Sheen, Donald Trump and William Shatner.
