Mahira Khan recently added another feather to her cap when she was selected as L’Oreal Paris’s official spokesperson from Pakistan.

The announcement came on the third day of the Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2017, and took everyone present at the event by surprise.

Amidst loud cheers and claps, Khan emerged from one side of the venue’s hall, looking dazzling in a white outfit, and paced down the runway before pausing to speak about the worth of womanhood in the most cogent of words. “Let… nobody’s opinion define who you are,” she said, clearly getting back at her detractors, especially the moral police that went into overdrive, shaming her for her photos with Ranbir Kapoor.

“And, if anybody needs to define who you are, let it be yourself, because including me and all the women out there, we are all worth it,” she added.
