Elissa ‘better’ after collapsing during Dubai concert

Singer was performing at Global Village on Friday evening

Popular Lebanese singer, Ellisa, is seen performing at Formal Park, Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Lebanese singer Elissa has said she is “feeling better” after collapsing on stage during her concert on Friday at Global Village.

The singer posted a message on her Twitter saying: “I am feeling better. Nothing serious don’t worry! This concert will definitely be memorable! I love you all.”

She further added: “Thank u for all your well wishes! I love to keep my dubai concerts memorable. Joke aside, I’m healthy thank u for ur support [sic].”


Fans of the popular singer expressed their shock and disbelief as they watched their idol falling down mid-performance, with Mediene Fergani writing: “I just had a heart attack, what is going on @elissakh hope you’re okay Queen #Elissa.”

A Twitter fan group of the singer posted a video on Twitter showing the moment Elissa collapsed before she was carried off stage.

Following the incident, artists including Nancy Ajram, Myriam Fares and Carole Samaha posted messages wishing 45-year-old a speedy recovery.
