Yasalam has unveiled 10 regional acts that will move on to the next stage of its annual Emerging Talent Competition. The winner of the music competition will get to perform on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The 10 shortlisted names are Jean Pierre Abou Jaoude, Molham Krayem, Fatima Bin Safwan, Sandra Sahi, Storm Fernandes, Majaz, Elias Sabella, Ghalia Chakir, Omar Dean and Eshani Shekar.
These artists will now be invited to participate in a series of workshops and mentoring sessions through October in order to build skills and finesse their personas. Following this, they will play a live acoustic performance at Yas Marina on October 26 as they battle to secure one of the final three spots. The fourth finalist spot will be open for fans to vote on.
Once selected, the four finalists will then take to the stage for the grand finale on November 22 where the winner will be crowned. Prizes for the winning act include the chance to perform at some of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix events, professional media coaching and publicity, studio access from Mango Jam, support from Universal Music Mena and the live streaming possibilities from Anghami.
