British singer Marti Pellow will perform at the Irish Village on April 19.

The former Wet Wet Wet vocalist will sing the Scottish group’s greatest hits as well as his solo material.

Wet Wet Wet formed in 1982. In 1988, they were named Best British Newcomer at the Brit Awards. Pellow left the band in 1999, and again in 2017 after a 13-year reunion.

Their greatest hit is a 1994 cover of the Trogg’s 1960s tune, Love is All Around. The song featured on the soundtrack of Four Weddings and a Funeral. It spent 15 weeks at No 1 in the UK, making it one of the longest-running chart-toppers in history.

Pellow’s show at Irish Village begins at 9pm. Tickets are Dh199 (seating) and Dh225 (standing). Both categories are general admission.
