Ramadan workshop and summer camp

British Islamic Nursery in Al Khan, Sharjah, is holding a Ramadan workshop and summer camp for kids aged 2 to 7. 

The workshop that runs from June 12 to 23 will teach kids the significance of Ramadan through interactive play and learning. The summer camp, which will be held from July 10 to August 4, will introduce them to the scientific reasoning mentioned within the Quran through various fun-filled exercises. Picture People’s summer of photography

Photography studio Picture People will be holding a series of camps and workshops aimed at children from three years (adults of all ages too). The sessions will include everything from learning the basics of how to hold a camera correctly and the settings to prop making, macaroni jewellery and posing for the younger photography enthusiasts.

The workshop (June 19 to 23, Dh595 per class per day or Dh2,475 for five days) will run for five days aimed at kids 14-years-old and above. Each day will cover a different subject including props, positioning and posing, lighting and post-production using Photoshop. The summer camp (June 26 to 30 and July 3 to 7) is a five-day course for children from three to nine years (three to five and six to nine years). One-day package is for Dh295, three-day package for Dh885 and five-day package Dh1,475.

Play and learn with Hummingbird

Five at Atlantis The Palm

Atlantis The Palm has come back with five summer camp programmes for children between 3 and 12 years from June 26 to August 25. Tackle challenges, seek adventure, hone culinary and art skills, or feed fish and other marine mammals. Hayley’s Comet’s theatre camp

Spend the summer singing, dancing and acting with Hayley’s Comet Theatre Company. Kids aged six to 14 years can join the summer camp at James & Alex Dance Studios during July and August. Drama games, building on team skills, learning routines and songs, and creating their own characters to become for a devised all-singing, all-dancing, all-drama play to be performed on the last day of camp for family and friends are the activities on offer.

The camp runs with a new theme and story for a different performance each week. A UK professional dance and musical theatre performer and a team of creative assistants will lead each camp. They will direct, choreograph and inspire kids to write their own musical to perform.

ICC Academy camp for juniors

Eight fun-filled weeks of cricket coaching, games and cricket skill development, all inside a fully air-conditioned indoor centre. The first camps will start on July 3 and run until July 28. More camps run until August 25.

Summer fun at St Regis Saadiyat Island

Abu Dhabi’s St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort’s children’s club Sandcastle Club will offer children between four to 12 activities ranging from art and crafts, water-based activities at the pool and by the beach, indoor and outdoor exercise, fun-filled competitive games, movie time and more, from July 10 to August 11.
