Spanish singer and songwriter Julio Iglesias will return to the UAE to perform at Dubai Opera as part of his 50th Anniversary Tour on October 1 and 2.
The 74-year-old is recognised as one of the most commercially successful European singers in the world, with more than 300 million records sold worldwide in 15 languages.
The winner of numerous awards, including the Grammy, Billboard Music Award, American Music Award and Latin Grammy, the singer was inducted to the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1985.
Iglesias, father of singer Enrique Iglesias, has garnered the love of fans from around the world. With two successful concerts in the UAE at the Dubai World Trade Centre (2013) and Al Majaz Amphitheatre, Sharjah (2016) in the past, the performer has been a constant visitor to the country.
The tour marks Iglesias’ 50th year in the industry.
