Guns N’ Roses returning to the UAE

The rock group will perform in Abu Dhabi in November

Guns N’ Roses are heading back to the UAE as part of the Yasalam After-Race Concert series later this year.

The rock icons will perform on November 25 at du Arena, Yas Island.

The band reunited in 2016 for a Not in this Lifetime… tour, after a decades-long rift between frontman Axl Rose and guitarist Slash.

They played in Dubai during March of last year, putting on a three-hour set at Autism Rocks Arena.

The full band — including Duff McKagan on bass — will once again entertain the UAE, with hits such as Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child o’ Mine and Paradise City.

Grand Prix weekend

The Weeknd was also announced as part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend of entertainment.

The pop R’n’B crooner will perform at du Arena on November 23.

*To attend the Yasalam After-Race Concerts, you must be a Formula 1 2018 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket-holder.

Ticket prices vary, starting from Dh995 for a Three-Day Hill pass.

Upgrading to Golden Circle for the After-Race Concerts starts from Dh195.
