German Soprano Felicitas Fuchs and soloists from the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra are some of the performers at an anniversary gala to celebrate two landmarks: 20 years of the Dubai Concert Committee (DCC) and 15 years of Morozov’s Quartet. The event will be held on March 11 at the One & Only Royal Mirage, Dubai, inclusive of a three-course dinner.

The DCC was established by Sir Maurice Flanagan, the founder of Emirates Airlines, and the British Consul General Chris Wilton, for people to enjoy classical music concerts in Dubai and the Middle East. Morozov’s Quartet was founded by Evgeniy Morozov, the soloist of the quartet and the CEO of events company M Premiere. Each member of the quartet is a graduate of the Belarus Academy of Music and winner of various competitions. The members, who have performed with well-known conductors as Herbert Prikopa and Gustav Kunz, and their repertoire ranges from classical, rock, pop and jazz to Latin music.

The Morozov’s Quartet will start off the evening on March 11 and perform some classical masterpieces. They will be followed by the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra soloists who will perform works by Mozart, Boccherini, Rossini, Anderson and Piazzolla. The orchestra is led by co-founder and soloist Grigory Kovalevsky.

The gala evening will be closed by Soprano Fuchs who has performed around the world. A versatile and committed recitalist, Fuchs has performed at renowned venues such as the Philharmonie in Munich, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Unesco Hall in Paris, the National Centre for the Arts in Beijing and the Royal Albert Hall London.
