Italian luxury leather brand Serapian has joined Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future, 2022 I tesori viventi dell'Europa e del Giappone, the exhibition organised in Venice by The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship to promote refined and contemporary crafts.

Serapian will showcase its iconic Mosaico craft, a first for the event. The brand’s signature handmade-weaving process that uses of soft lamb nappa strips will be one of the attractions at the event.

Running from until May 1, the event sees some of the greatest creators of high artistry gather at the event. Spanning brands from Europe all the way to Japan, the event celebrates the passion these artists share for beauty and indeed perfection.

On display will be some of the House’s icons, such as the Secret bag, paired with one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the culture of Japan -- the country to which the 2022 edition of Homo Faber pays tribute to.

Serapian guests will also be treated to an exquisite jewellery box, which hand been painted on the inside using nothing but natural pigments. This has been done by the Japanese artist par excellence Shoko Okumura. In essence, Serapian’s presence at Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future exhibition, underscores the brand’s love for exceptional craftsmanship.
