He is known as the disruptor, an artistic rebel of sorts and a genius when it comes to blending realistic shots of the world around him with a surrealist, sensual picture equated to high art. He is Guy Bourdin, the legendary photographer known for his work for prominent fashion magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and brands such as Chanel and French shoemaker Charles Jourdan.

For the first time ever in the Middle East, several of the iconic images of the acclaimed photographer are being shown at That Concept store, a homegrown destination for modern and contemporary lifestyle, luxury and fashion in Mall of the Emirates.

The exhibition has been staged with e-commerce platform ap8.art and reveal the work behind one of the masterminds of contemporary photography through the presentation of Bourdin’s work and its fusion of surrealism, documentary photography, sensuality and playfulness—both joyful and dark.
