Fendi’s flagship UAE store in Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue has doubled in size following recent renovations to the boutique first opened in October 2018. With a massive vertical extension, the store is designed by the Maison’s own Architecture department to include the full sphere of the Fendi universe including women’s and men’s entire collections.
The two floors of the boutique are connected by glass windows embellished with Karl Lagerfeld sketches and LED arches, with a metal store-front façade inspired by classic Roman patterns and the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the Maison’s headquarters in Rome.
An entrance gallery, decorated with Italian Arabescato Vagli marble, pink steel and ivory Pequin backdrops, invites visitors to explore the store starting with a round, glass elevator that leads to the upper level and the Yellow Diamond Room, which offers Fendi Fur pieces and leather goods.
From this area visitors are invited to another three rooms, including the White Diamond Room showcasing Fendi’s latest couture collections and some pieces exclusive to the Dubai Mall boutique. The Amber Room is dedicated to Fendi’s bespoke Made-To-Order service, and the Sapphire Room offers a display of Fendi Gems, with the entire space distinguished by vivid Onice Bluette marble. The capsule collection featured in the Sapphire Room is created exclusively for the Dubai Mall boutique by Artistic Director of Jewellery Delfina Delettrez Fendi.
And since it coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Iconic Fendi Baguette bag, yet another exclusive homage to the renovated new boutique is a silver Baguette that’s only available at the Dubai Mall location.
