Dubai: Events company 117Live has postponed upcoming music festival Fiesta De Los Muertos due to logistical issues. The concert was set to take place on October 26, with headlining performances from singer Nick Jonas and R’n’B star Miguel.

Jonas last year pulled out of the same festival for unspecified reasons but said he would perform at the Halloween-themed event in 2018. He was replaced by rapper Stormzy.

In a statement released on Twitter, the company said that “due to unfortunate logistical issues, we have decided to postpone this year’s event until a later date.” The message was also sent to ticket holders.

Those who have already bought tickets to the event would be fully refunded, with the money reflected back in their accounts within 5 to 21 days, according to the statement.

Organisers are also offering a discount coupon for “the next 117Live show.” They have yet to announce a new date for the festival, which typically takes place in October and is branded as a spooky event.
