A dining and entertainment beach hot spot with tons of food trucks. A line-up that includes celebrity chefs, home-grown restaurant concepts and fantastic family-friendly activities.
In addition to delicious food, expect amazing experiences including entertainment ranging from fitness classes, beach football and open mic nights to farmers’ markets, children’s play areas and beach cinema.

Parking is available, but it definitely will be a hassle, since spots are limited.
Tip: Park in Sunset Mall and walk for 2 minutes to get to the Beach Canteen.

Etisalat Beach Canteen is a free community festival, suitable for all ages, and with no tickets or pre-registration required.

Activities
Cooking Masterclasses and amazing chef demos
Master Chefs will take part in a series of live cooking demonstrations. Participants are from top culinary talent from around the world. Michelin-starred chef David Myers (The Gypsy Chef) will conduct session on February 23 while Dalia Dogmoch, food author, presenter and entrepreneur, along with a chef partner will being hosting the ‘Cook for Syria’ initiative on March 3 from 2 pm to 3.30 pm.
Beach Canteen will also feature demos by chefs from the city’s hottest restaurants including Asado on February 25, folly by Nick & Scott on February 26, Toro and Ko on March 1 and many more. Visitors are in for a treat with live cook-offs between Beach Canteen’s food vendors throughout the festival, as well as a series of ‘Chef vs Influencer’ culinary challenges.

Wellness warriors can start their day with calming beachside yoga classes taught by the experts from XDubai or join weekend boot-camp sessions at Beach Canteen to burn some serious calories before enjoying a tasty and healthy post-workout meal.
Games
Armchair sports enthusiasts will be able to cheer on their favourite teams at the Beach Canteen’s soccer tournament. Matches will be held on various evenings throughout DFF, ending in a series of nail-biting finals on March 9.
Outdoor movie theatre
With lots of bean bags perched onto the sand, visitors can enjoy a series of free movie screenings at the beach canteen. Just lie back and let them entertain you.
Beach Canteen Live & Unplugged
Check out the special performances by well-known English and Arabic artists at the Beach Canteen Live & Unplugged for an entertainment-filled night for those looking to unwind with friends and family over food.
Beach Canteen’s kid’s zone
Kids will be kept entertained and occupied at Beach Canteen’s Kid’s Zone which features a packed daily programme of cooking classes and arts and crafts sessions. Activities will include cookie decorating, balloon modelling and a tasty chocolate workshop. The little ones will also be able to demonstrate their sporting abilities in a Kids’ Volleyball Tournament on March 4.
