Updated list of New Year's Eve 2024 fireworks in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah

Dubai: The country is gearing up for an epic countdown to the New Year on December 31 with a long list of places featuring fireworks on New Year's Eve.

BURJ KHALIFA: The most popular display in this part of the world is definitely the annual NYE fireworks at Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building. This year, Burj Khalifa's New Year's Eve display is set to be bigger than ever - with 325 strategic firing positions and 15,682 pyrotechnic elements

AL SEEF - The waterfront promenade is set to have celebratory fireworks counting down to midnight.

SHEIKH ZAYED FESTIVAL - Imagine a dazzling display lasting one whole hour! You can enjoy the record-breaking show at this destination for over 60 minutes as the venue aims to break multiple world records. There will also be drone shows to enjoy on the last day of 2023.

DUBAI FESTIVAL CITY: Book your spots (Dh100 for adults, Dh50 for kids) in advance for the countdown to the New Year with the iconic Festival Bay fireworks and IMAGINE show featuring lasers, lights, dancing fountains and projection displays. Expect a total of 48 shooting positions and a breathtaking 4,138 shots in a 5-minute show. Guests will also experience a 360-degree fireworks performance when standing in Festive Bay, synchronized with lasers, fountains, lighting, fire, and projection elements.

ATLANTIS THE PALM - The iconic Atlantis arch will be one to watch on December 31. The property is set to host Sting for a NYE concert as well.

BLUEWATER ISLAND, THE BEACH-JBR: Head to this beautiful venue to enjoy displays set against the incredible Ain Dubai and the Dubai skyline.

LIWA VILLAGE: Visitors can expect a fireworks display emerging from beyond the Moreeb Dune on December 31. Tickets cost Dh15 for entry only.

RIVERLAND: Dubai Parks and Resorts will have two fireworks displays on December 31. You need to pay Dh15 to enter Riverland - which can redeemed on F&B - unless you are an Annual Pass holder or park ticket holder.

BURJ AL ARAB: Residents and tourists can expect the annual fireworks spectacle set against the Burj Al Arab this year as well.

EMIRATES GOLF CLUB: This Dubai club is also going to be having a NYE-special fireworks display for paying guests.

YAS ISLAND: Abu Dhabi's entertainment destination will have two displays - one at 9pm and the other as the clock strikes midnight.

AL MARJAN ISLAND: Ras Al Khaimah is hosting its annual fireworks extravaganza on Al Marjan Island - set to light up the 4.5km beachfront area.

AL MARYAH ISLAND, ABU DHABI CORNICHE: These two locations in Abu Dhabi will also have NYE fireworks.

MARSANA-HUDAYRIYAT ISLAND: This destination will also have a spectacular display along with family-friendly activities and food options.

EMIRATES PALACE: This opulent property in Abu Dhabi usually hosts NYE fireworks but entry is limited to paying guests only. You can still watch the display from spots near the property.
