UAE National Day celebrations are usually marked with spectacular fireworks displays and residents can expect the skies to light up this time around too. To celebrate the 51st National Day of the UAE, several destinations will feature fireworks, and here’s where to head to enjoy the displays.

Yas Island: If you live in Abu Dhabi, why not head to Yas lsland to enjoy their daily display at the Yas Bay waterfront? Residents and visitors can look forward to spectacular fireworks displays as part of the destination’s celebrations on 2nd December at 9pm. No celebration is complete without the UAE skies lightening up.

Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi: This popular venue is hosting a two-day festival for National Day, running across December 2 and 3, where it will explore the history of the UAE and its achievements. The festival will also have a spectacular fireworks display.

Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, Abu Dhabi: This shopping destination in Abu Dhabi will also feature their own fireworks displays and light up the sky at 9pm on December 2. Residents and visitors can also enjoy an end-of-year sale running from November 1 to December 31.

Dubai Festival City: This venue will have musical performances as well as fireworks in celebration of the UAE National Day. Emirati singer Fayez Al Saeed will perform at the mall on December 3 at 8pm before fireworks set off, after which DJ Bliss will bring his own vibe to entertain the crowds.

Global Village in Dubai: Each evening, from December 1 to 4, at 9pm a spectacular fireworks display will light up the Dubai skies with the colours of the UAE flag. The destination also has a full calendar of cultural events and performances representing the 27 pavilions.

The Pointe, Dubai: The world’s largest fountain show and fireworks go hand-in-hand at this destination on The Palm. The venue will host a stunning fireworks at 9pm also on December 2.

Head over to Al Seef at 8pm to see the sky glistening in the UAE colours and sample some of the traditional offerings from the many market stalls and eateries.

The Beach, JBR also will showcase incredible fireworks, and this will be something to look forward to this year as well. You can catch illuminating firework displays by The Beach, opposite JBR and Bluewaters at 8pm.

The family-friendly Dubai Parks and Resorts, home to iconic theme parks and hotels in the region, will be decorated in the UAE flag colours to celebrate the occasion. The park is set to become the ideal destination for family-friendly fireworks on December 2 at 7pm and 9pm.
