Texas Roadhouse has recently opened a new beachfront location at the city’s newest hotspot, La Mer, Dubai.
Fans of the restaurant who wait long periods of time for a table at the Dubai Mall venue, can now wait long periods of time at La Mer as well.
The wait is definitely worth it. The restaurant’s made-to-order halal hand-cut steaks, and fall-off-the-bone ribs, are a meat-lover’s dream.
In typical Texas Roadhouse style, you can expect a line dancing routine, every hour on the hour by the staff at the restaurant – both indoors and outdoors. Feel free to join them to classics such as ‘Achy Breaky Heart’.
On the design front, the restaurant is decked in western interiors with wooden floors and tables and cacti. And as soon as you enter, you’re offered a large bucket of peanuts, warm home-baked bread rolls and a pot of cinnamon butter.
Go easy on this, since their starters are mains, and their mains are super-human sized servings of delightful deliciousness.
Here are a few suggested dishes to try: special ribs, ‘Bone-in Ribeye steak’, steak Kebab, Beef Brisket, fried pickles, mashed potatoes – all made-to-order by Chef Brandon Everett and his team.
If you ever do make it to dessert, the Big ol’ Brownie and Pistachio Caramel Crunch are recommended. Though we highly doubt you’ll last till dessert.
