Abu Dhabi: At just over 90 minutes from Dubai, Abu Dhabi is perfect for a day trip for residents and visiting tourists. The must-visit attractions there are Qasr Al Watan and Louvre Abu Dhabi. If you have more time or an extra day, we recommend visiting the Eastern mangroves there.

Hatta: Situated in Dubai, Hatta is perfect for those who love adventure and natural beauty. Enjoy the cool weather surrounded by picturesque mountains. Don’t forget to take a picture of the iconic Hatta sign, which won the record for the tallest sign in the world of its kind.

Ras Al Khaimah: Setting itself up as the adventure capital of the UAE, a Jebel Jais drive is a must-do for residents during this season. Enjoy a sunrise or sunset while also booking yourself for a few adventure activities, such as the Jais Flight, the world's longest zipline, and Jais Sledder.

Al Ain: Head to this underrated gem and embrace serene palm trees, stunning oases, and cultural treasures like Al Jahili Fort and Al Ain Palace Museum at Al Ain. Finally, before you leave, head to Jebel Hafeet. At 1,240 metres, Abu Dhabi's highest peak — known in Arabic as the 'empty mountain' - is worth a visit.
