More Peruvian food in Dubai

If you can’t get enough Peruvian food, Dubai is the place to live, it seems: Another Peruvian restaurant is set to open its doors, to join the likes of Tesoro, Coya, Inka, Garden and Toro Toro. This one, however, is an outpost of a restaurant that’s actually from Peru.

Mayta will be opening in the Capital Club in Dubai International Financial Centre in January 2016,

The first Mayta restaurant opened in Lima in 2009, founded by chef Jaime Pesaque.

“I am thrilled to be bringing Mayta to Dubai and am looking forward to introducing the menu of modern Peruvian food to locals and visitors alike. I am extremely passionate about all things Peruvian and we are excited to bring a taste of Lima to Dubai, a place where guests can experience a true Peruvian bistro atmosphere, somewhere in which they can indulge and relax,” he said.

It’s being opened by GFD Group, who also have the Jean-Georges Restaurant in the Four Seasons Resort.
