Booking a stay here in the first week of March will cost from Dh3,445 to Dh17,000 per night, depending on your chosen room and package. An addition to Dubai's already impressive skyline, the structure looks gravity-defying and houses residential units and a hotel wing. The penthouses here have already been picked up in record-breaking deals.

For instance, in August last year a five-bedroom unit at Atlantis The Royal Residences spanning 25,208 square feet, sky garden and two private pools was sold for Dh163 million.

The 43-storey (185 metre) property boasts 90 swimming pools, including a rooftop infinity pool suspended 96 meters above The Palm on level 22. Residents and guests will have access to over 40 restaurants and eateries along with bespoke serviced a-la-carte packages.

Atlantis The Royal is set to host a private concert by Grammy-winner Beyonce on January 21, which will reportedly be attended by Hollywood A-listers. The hotel has 795 rooms, suites and penthouses.
