The first official YouTube meet-and-greet event in Dubai will take place on Friday, organisers announced.
From noon until 3pm at Zaabeel Park, as part of the weekly Ripe Market, a branded YouTube stall will welcome dozens of YouTube personalities. Fans can say hello, take photos and ask for autographs.
The event, organised by Google MENA, comes on the heels of demands for more digital Arabic content online. Popular Arabic YouTubers from the channels U-Turn, Sa7i, Kharabeesh, Diwanee, AlFan Group will attend. Their channels range from education and entertainment to news, comedy, talk shows and animation.
From U-Turn, the following content-creators will be in attendance: arabGT (Kareem Deeb), The Saudi Reporters (Abdullah and Abdul Aziz Bakr), Swar Shuaib (Shoaib Rashid), JaySajer (Al Juharah Sajer), Rana Style in (Rana Al Ahmadi), m7mdxd, Monsterg3me, D7oomy_999 (Abdul Rahman Yahya), Fallimha (Louay Al Sharif), XO (Khalid Minawy), Fly With Haifa (Haifa Bseiso), Ana W Heya (Darin Al Bayed, Moutasim Tarabzouni) and Fe2aFalaa (Mahmoud and Ammar Ramadan).
From Sa7i, Ebrahim Saleh, Khalid Al Farraj, Yazid Zeidan and Bandar Halwani. From Kharabeesh, Lady Fozaza (Alanoud Badr) and Hayla Ghazal. From Diwanee, Miva Flowers. From AlFan Group, MrmrSnB2 (Hassan Al Omran). Fahd Sal will also join.
While regular entry into Zaabeel Park is Dh5, access to the YouTube stall comes at no additional charge.
