A Wayans Brothers comedy show and a live Shaan gig were announced as part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Season, which begins on July 7 and wraps up on September 11.
The Wayans return to the UAE on August 19 at the Emirates Palace, while Shaan takes the stage on August 11.
But first, the season kicks off with Myriam Fares and Waleed Al Shami performing at Al Raha Beach Theatre on July 8. On July 8 and 9, Britain’s Got Talent illusionist Jamie Raven will take over at Emirates Palace.
A family-oriented dance and theatre experience dubbed Hello Kitty Live: Fashion & Friends will take place on July 7 at the Cultural Center Theatre in Madinat Zayed, July 8 at the Al Ain Municipality Theatre and July 9 at Al Raha Beach Theatre.
Kuwaiti comedian Tarek Al Ali will bring his new three-hour production, Heart for Sale, to the region between August 4 and 5 (National Theatre, Abu Dhabi) and September 1 and 2 (Al Ain, venue TBD).
On September 9, comedy trio Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley and Charlie Murphy will entertain at Al Raha Theatre.
That same day, Fadi Al Shehri, Ibrahim Saleh and Ibrahim Khairallah will headline the Arab Comedy Festival at Yas Mall. On September 10, Rajae Qawas, Darine Al Bayed and Fahad Al Butairi will take over.
On the musical side, Bollywood duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani will perform on August 12 and 13 at du Forum.
On August 18 and 19, a show described as a ‘family spectacular’ from the creators of the Illusionists and Le Noir, Cirque Adrenaline will take place at Al Raha Beach Theatre.
