After sold out shows in 2012 and 2013, Russell Peters returns to Dubai with his new Almost Famous World Tour on January 19 and 20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The tour has sold over 150,000 tickets in Canada, where Peters will become the first comedian to sell-out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre for a sixth time and has already been to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, the UK, Europe and Asia this year.

The show also features Peters’ Official Tour DJ, New York City’s DJ Spinbad, as well as video cameras and screens for an up-close and intimate show setting.

The DVDs went on to sell over 350,000 units across North America. His last special, Notorious was the first original comedy special for Netflix. Notorious was also supported by a four-part documentary series, Russell Peters Vs The World. He was recently seen as a judge on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, alongside Roseanne Barr and Keenen Ivory Wayans.
