Rapper Nas will headline Dubai’s annual street culture festival Sole DXB on December 8.
The three-day event will take place at Dubai Design District (d3) between December 6-8.
Nas, born Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, rose to fame with his 1994 debut album Illmatic, widely accepted as one of hip-hop’s greatest albums. His eleventh and latest album, Life is Good, released in 2012 and was nominated at the Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album.
Joining the bill with Nas on December 8 will be DaniLeigh, R’n’B duo Lion Babe and rapper Roxanne Shante.
On December 7, performances include rapper Giggs, Slowthai, Sho Madjozi and Masego.
Tickets are Dh195 per day or Dh295 for a weekend pass.
Doors open on December 6 from 6pm until 10pm; doors open on December 7 and 8 from 12pm until 10pm.
