Rapper Ahmad Mekki to perform in Abu Dhabi
It will be the Egyptian’s first time performing his hits in the UAE capital
Egyptian rapper Ahmad Mekki will perform at The Mall, World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi, on March 30, as part of their Rooftop Nights finale event.
It will be Mekki’s first time performing his hits, such as Waqfet Nasyt Zama and Atr Al Hayah, in the UAE.
The rapper rose to fame as an actor, featuring in Egyptian Ramadan series El Kebir Awi and Tamer Wa Shaweiyah.
Rooftop Nights at The Mall was founded to bring Arabic entertainment in an alfresco setting. Yasser Al Marzouqi, general manager of WTCAD, said they’ve received positive feedback for events featuring Dunia’s World, Hussam Habib, Yara and Abla Faheta.
“With his humour and raw talent, Ahmad Mekki is the perfect artist to complete our line-up and so we look forward to welcoming our guests on Friday for our Rooftop Nights finale,” he added.
