Filipino rock bands Callalily and Alamid will headline the Rock Kabayan concert Friday at Wonderland Water and Theme Park in Dubai.
Callalily is a multi-awarded pop rock band comprising Kean Cipriano, Tatsi Jamnague, Aaaron Ricafrente and Lemuel Belaro. The band hit it big with breakthrough singles Star and Magbalik, Pasan. The latter was included in the soundtrack of Lineage II, Insane and Sanctuary. Their second album, Fisheye, followed not long after, which scored its first single, Susundan.
Alamid, dubbed the Philippines' Friendliest Rock Band, has scored several original hits to their credit. The band have released three albums with Warner Bros Records and had one of their hit singles, Your Love, named Song of the Year at the NU107 Rock Awards in 1995. The group's members are Gary Ignacio, Dexter Facelo, Gene Mitra, Jun Pineda and Jex Herradura.
Also performing at the concert is stand-up comedian Kakai.
