Motivational speaker Nick Vujicic coming to Sharjah
Australian to deliver talk on finding hope and meaning in life at ‘Dawn with Nick’
Nick Vujicic, the man behind viral motivational videos, is coming to the UAE on May 29 for a talk at the Sharjah Expo Centre called Dawn with Nick.
Vujicic, who travels around the world for talks, will talk about living with a disability and finding hope and meaning in life. The 33-year-old was born in Australia with phocomelia, a rare disorder which usually leads to the absence of arms and legs. He grew up being bullied and depressed as a result of his condition but learnt to eventually come to terms with his disability.
He is now a published author, a musician and an actor. He heads the motivational company Attitude is Altitude and is an evangelist with his Christian organisation Life Without Limbs based in California where he lives with his wife Kanae Miyahara and two sons.
