A new two-day festival is bringing some of EDM’s biggest names to Dubai on November 29 and 30.
Bao Festival at Meydan will welcome Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Don Diablo, Nervo, R3hab, Alok, Salvatore Ganacci, Brooks, Dante Klein, Marcus Santoro and DJ Licious to the stage.
The event, the name of which translates to ‘treasure’, was inspired by Chinese explorer Zheng He, who led several voyages in the 15th century, including the Arabian Gulf, in search of ‘treasures and riches’.
“I hope this event will bring happiness to all people, and those who join us can find their own treasures. These artists need no introduction,” said project creator Bingchen Li.
Single and weekend passes, available online, start from Dh295; tickets for an elevated ‘Deluxe Area’ experience range from Dh999-Dh2,300. Meanwhile, VIP table packages start at Dh10,000.
