Dubai Music Band, that consists of young and emerging musicians from the region, will perform Tones of a Golden Time at the Dubai Opera on June 30.
Led by renowned artist, Eid Al Farag, the performance will feature musical compositions from Arab musicians such as Jaber Jasem, Mohammad Abdo, Ghrid Al Shati, Ahmad Kassem and Mohammad Abdul Wahab.
In addition, the Dubai Music Band will also be supported by local guest vocalists, who will perform renditions of popular Arabic songs.
“This is a wonderful chance to hear young and talented local musicians perform their first public show, featuring classic songs and pieces by some of the region’s most loved composers and artists,” said Jasper Hope, chief executive of Dubai Opera.
Interested young Arab musicians can apply to join Dubai Music Band, which accepts new members based on their interest, passion and skills. Selected members will also be provided specialised training by veteran Arab musicians upon joining the band.
